so,

Its about 5:30am and I am again on the road. I’ll get to that later, but my past week was filled with A LOT! Work- yes I do work now, I haven’t written my salary yet, but that’s next week. I’m working for my parents. All of these small businesses over the years has made me a prime candidate for consulting. Hence I will be starting my own consulting business. It just seems natural now. Just putting small steps in place and making sure I have the capacity for more clients! There is already not enough time in the day……

Roll Tide

So I’m typing my blog for the past two weeks in the car on the way home from Tuscaloosa. It was a great great great-great day tailgating and meeting up with my peoples. It was a good small dosage of the college football life. Unfortunately we did not find a place to stay for the night so I missed out on Day Star and watching the game at my spot Willhagens. I’m glad I convinced my mother to drive up with me though. Its pretty impressive, she even wore the Alabama jumpsuit. We ended getting some souvenirs for my grandmother…

Touched

Sitting in my bed tonight wide awake at 3am. Started praying to God, thanking Him for who He is…more so for the love He has imparted on my grandmother. Today she was hallucinating again, but it was much different. When I can home she shared (with Much enthusiasm) that there is a new Heaven and a new Earth, and that Jesus came with salt, popcorn, and sugar! Bless her soul, I was laughing and ran to get my FlipCam to get this candid moment. As she went on (as I prodded with questions) she shared how she could see all…

unfair

When I reflect on this week a word comes to mind: Unfair. So we’ll just move on from there. Last play of the Lions game= Unfair Oil spill in the gulf= Unfair Mark Ingram out, Trent Richardson in = Unfair Unemployment= Unfair Public health care= Unfair Early onset Alzheimer’s= Unfair Nursing homes= Unfair Being hours away from home with no car= Unfair Long distance relationships= Unfair Injuries= Unfair No, I’m not complaining just stating the simple truth. Some things in life are harder to deal with than others. And that has been my week. But I’m hopeful that all of…

And I’m Back!

Back in Niceville that is…I’ve been back in the states for about two weeks now, and have realized all of my unsuspecting readers in cyberspace have been missing my occasional blog.  I neglected to blog during my time in Czech due to our team posting a blog on the AIA site (which you can visit here: AIA Team Blogs) more so because I hate duplicating information. So you can read/hear about most of our trip and day to day action on that blog.  Personally, the trip was extremely comfortable and you can view a recap video I did in Frankfurt…(Recap in Frankfurt)…which is pretty much…

packed and ready

Well I’m ready–or I was ready. I’m all on the plane now, no turning back! I guess last night I started thinking about my emotions for this trip and what I am prepared to do. I don’t think I’m prepared much at all, but I can say I’m well rested! I haven’t done much of anything the past couple of weeks except run. I’m definitely prayed up. Actually my last Bible study with John was about witnessing sort of a preparation for this trip. So some background but not much. I spent most of my time preparing for my flight…

not gonna lie

I totally forgot to blog But the weekend was crazy! My fam came from Tallahassee in a celebration of my aunt and uncle’s 29th wedding anniversary. They ended up going to eat at Joes Crab Shack ((I send my apologies to those working there, I know they were loud.)) and then coming to our house for dessert. I made some fantabulous brownies and we bought ice cream to serve with the brownies. It was soo good, I made another pan of brownies today. Probably not the best idea LoL. Last week was pretty much the same as the previous two.…

oh hey!

So I just realized I didn’t post from last week. Since its late this will probably be a short post to rap things up. I pretty much had a mirror week to the previous. God was still moving in getting me where he wants me to be. I hooped this week, wanted to get in an extra day but that didn’t work out. I really got to ramp up my workout schedule next week. QuickLove got a new logo during the week which popped up on their Twitter and LinkedIn pages. I’m still debating on whether or not to have…

Blessed Week!

Wow I just looked at my post from last week and that feels like a month ago! Man a lot has gone on this week, I mean when I got back from Orlando I was expecting pretty much the same as before I left. That’s not what God had in mind… The week pretty much started with basketball at OW which was nice, and I played well so I couldn’t complain too much. Tuesday led to major movement on the job front and search. I also found out I would be able to go on the AIA tour to Czech…

Leaving Orlando

This week has been really great. The fourth is my favorite holiday, and of course my baby’s birthday (no coincidences with God involved). I really enjoyed it this year, firework in downtown Orlando and cooking out all day was about it. More importantly I was still able to enjoy this fourth like many other’s before I met John, with my family. My auntie Adele was in town along with her kids-my cousins- Telitra and Tyrice. It was nice getting to chill and play rock band, cook chicken, eat potatoe salad, and reminisce. And John enjoyed it too. Since we didn’t…
